Plans for new £7m Centre unveiled at NDC Fun Day.

New Cross Gate New Deal for Communities is holding a fun day to celebrate the winning design of the new £7m NDC Centre. The event will be held this Saturday 2nd May 1pm -6pm on the actual site of the proposed development and is open to the public.
Public Consultation
Local residents will be given the opportunity to speak to the architects and discuss the proposed plans including what people would like to see in the “Urban Garden”. This garden is part of the Mayor of London’s 100 public spaces and designers will also be present to take note of what residents would like to see in this public space.
The winning scheme for the NDC Centre by Feilden Clegg Bradley Architects, including a scaled model, will be on display at the event.
Competition
The NDC will also be holding a competition to name the new centre. The first 100 people to hand in their suggestions will receive a goodie bag.
Fun Day
To mark this major step towards regenerating New Cross Gate the NDC has organised a day packed full with fun activities for all the family, including: Bouncy castles, Giant Games, Penalty Shoot Out, Performances and Sumo wrestling.
Further consultation will be held at Besson Street Gardens on Sunday the 7th June 2pm – 6pm and Monday the 8th June 2pm – 8pm. If anyone would like further information please contact the NDC on 020 8314 9894.
